The Games for All

The 2014 Gay Games presented by the Cleveland Foundation is one of the biggest sports & cultural festivals in the world and comes to Cleveland+Akron, 9-16 August.

The Games are open to all adults - regardless of sexual orientation or athletic ability. With more than 35 sports (from darts to triathlon, bowling to softball) and 2 cultural events (band and chorus), there's something for everybody. 

Games Week is about more than sport with spectacular ceremonies, Festival Village, parties and more. Let's show the world. Now is the time. GO ALL OUT.

  • Companies go colorful for 2014 Gay Games


    Gay Games appreciates the support of its sponsors. In addition to previously announced platinum and presenting sponsors, Gold sponsors now include Wells Fargo and United Airlines. KeyBank is a Silver sponsor and 8 organizations are Bronze sponsors.

  • Patrick Roberge Productions named Opening Ceremony producer


    Patrick Roberge Productions Inc. (PRP) has been named Opening Ceremony producer for the ninth Gay Games, an international sport and culture event. The Opening Ceremony on 9 August kicks off the weeklong event in Cleveland+Akron, Ohio.

  • GLAAD teams up for equality in sports


    As athletes gather in Sochi, Russia, where anti-gay laws have persecuted the LGBT community, GLAAD is proud to announce a partnership with the 2014 Gay Games, the world’s largest inclusive multi-sport event this year.

  • Human Rights Campaign partners with 2014 Gay Games


    The Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the largest LGBT civil rights organization in the U.S., announced it is an elite platinum sponsor of the world’s largest LGBT inclusive multi-sport event, the 2014 Gay Games presented by the Cleveland Foundation.
