    The International Gay and Lesbian Aquatics (IGLA) Championships splashed into Reykjavik, Iceland on 30 May-2 June 2012. Several Cleveland-area athletes swam in the event and GG9 info appeared in the IGLA program and athlete registration bags. In 2014, The Gay Games partners with IGLA to host the Championships in Cleveland.

    Cleveland G.I.F.T. (Gay, lesbian, bi, transgendered Invitational Fellowship Tournament) held its 24th Annual Bowling Tournament last weekend. The sold out event rocked the roll at Freeway Lanes, with 150 bowlers participating from across the US and Canada. On Saturday night, over 700 friends and guests gathered for one of the most widely attended LGBT events in the Cleveland area, the annual G.I.F.T cruise on the annual boat cruise on Lake Erie.
